  • 2014 July : Zipwire seat . The seat has been damaged by local vandals & will be replaced / reinstalled by 7th Aug.

  • 2014 July : Play Area / Park equipment. Shirley Park now has a significantly extended range of equipment installed as part of the Parkgate Development.
    Let us know which items you think we should try to get for Knowle Park. Obviously some of it is too large for our much smaller park, but a lot of it does look suitable / fun !

  • 2014 Feb : No Festival this year !
     Again, due to insufficient support we're not able to stage a Festival this year. We have some potential volunteers for next year, but need more to make it viable to put on.
    Behind the scenes activity starts approx 9 months before the event so let us know soon if you're willing to help. Please contact us via email or telephone on 01564 775342.

  • 2013 July : Unfortunately we have to confirm that there will be no Knowle Park Festival in 2013.
    We've had to take this decision as we've not got enough volunteers to help prepare the event & help on the day.

  • 2013 March : Events diary updated for this year's events - Make sure you add them to your diary. Tell your friends & neighbours !

  • 2012 June 2nd (Saturday) : The 2012 Festival - including Knockout Knowle - was a great success despite the initial drizzle.
    42 teams of 10 took part in the games & many visitors came to watch the games & tour the stalls, refreshment facilities etc.
    Thanks to     David Lloyd Solihull Fitness, who acted as our main Festival & Knockout Knowle sponsor.

  • 2011 June 19th (Sunday) :This year's Festival - See our separate Knowle Park Festival webpages for all the detail.

  • 2011 Jan : The Council are trying to understand how / why people use the local Parks & what they'd like improved !
    They've issued a survey (in conjunction with Warwickshire Wildlife Trust (WWT). We hope to get a copy of the survey results when available.

  • 2011 Jan : Happy New Year ! The Park Events diary has now been updated with the Council planned events.
    This year's Festival is planned for     Sunday June 19th - more details soon.
